A Melbourne firm inside one of the world's largest legal networks.
YK Law Melbourne (Yingke Melbourne) is an Australian-registered legal practice managed directly by Beijing Yingke Law Firm, admitted to practise in the Commonwealth and Victoria. Founded in November 2023, we act as a local base in Melbourne for clients doing business between Australia and China.
Yingke's headquarters is in Beijing. It is a founding member of the UN South-South Cooperation Global Think Tank Network, has ranked among the largest law firms in Asia-Pacific and Asia for several consecutive years, and is building a global "one-hour legal service ecosystem."

“No matter is too small.”
David advises on trade and investment, start-up legal support in Australia, franchising and agency, and commercial litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution — with a particular focus on building litigation-risk safeguards around clients' Australian business activities.
He has led over a hundred matters covering title and property disputes, shareholder disputes, contract disputes, trusts and equity, personal guarantees and insurance, appearing for clients in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT). His team also acts as standing counsel to several major corporations, property developers, and well-known restaurant and hospitality franchise groups.
The Yingke global legal service network spans 164 international cities across 95 countries, covering major cities in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and South America. Team members are drawn from leading law schools worldwide, and many hold dual qualifications across China and Australia, connecting seamlessly with the global network to deliver comprehensive, coordinated legal service.
