Wills & Estate Law
A downloaded template is not a valid Victorian will.
A valid will in Victoria has formal requirements — written, signed and witnessed correctly — that a template rarely satisfies, and cross-border family assets add another layer most templates don't address at all. We draft and update wills, testamentary trusts and powers of attorney, and act for executors and beneficiaries once a matter is underway. We handle roughly a hundred wills and estate matters a year, from straightforward single wills to blended families and estates with assets split between Australia and China.
What we help with
- Will drafting, updates & review
- Testamentary trusts
- Blended & multi-generational family wills
- Cross-border asset planning (Australia–China)
- Enduring power of attorney & advance care directives
- Grant of probate applications
- Letters of administration
- Estate administration & disputes
- Family provision claims
When this usually comes up
- You don't have a will, or haven't updated one in years
- Your family situation has changed — remarriage, new children, a move overseas
- You're an executor and don't know where to start
- You're contesting, or expect someone to contest, an estate
First conversations are confidential and at no cost, in English or Mandarin.
